Washington Home & Garden magazine covers a variety of home & garden topics in Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia, including: interior design, modern bathrooms, traditional kitchens, indoor and outdoor furniture, gardening and garden products, and green living.
Our mission is to offer inspiration to readers who desire a morecomfortable, beautiful, and functional home. We go beyond the four walls of the home and explore new and exciting gardening and landscaping ideas. This year we have expanded the focus of the magazine to cover entertaining at home, dining out ideas, cooking classes, recipes, places to visit, charitable organizations, local schools and ways to become more involved in the community. Our new and improved web site -- whgmag.com -- delivers the latest trends in home and garden design: hundreds of photographs with links to architects, builders, remodelers, lighting experts and more; web exclusives and an online version of the magazine. We are constantly updating the site with new links, photography, and information our readers can use for everything from finding a great contractor to finding a fabulous weekend day trip. We aim to bring readers the ideas, knowledge and professional expertise needed to transform their houses into dream homes.
