Beach Photos, part 2

Posted by WHG Staff in beach , baby , Adventures of a New Dad

Here are a few more photos from the beach trip the other week. Our little man (like most other children) hate it when we wipe his face and he loves taking hats or anything else we put on his head. We tried putting his shades on a couple times in our apartment, but he ripped them off immediately. As soon as we got to the beach, though, he gladly kept them on once he saw how much relief his eyes would get.

My wife and I are currently on an amazing diet (I've lost 25 lbs, she's lost 12) that I'll talk about in more detail later when we have our final results, but we're looking forward to going back to the beach in August and having fun there with some friends (and surprising them with our amazing weight loss!)
I'll have some more photos to upload soon, our little man is crawling up a storm now, so the cats have to stay on their toes.. er, paws to avoid him. Haha. He's starting to stand up holding onto something too, so he'll soon get to the "cruising" stage where he walks by holding onto the sofa, tables, etc.

First Beach Visit... Tasty!

Posted by WHG Staff in beach , baby , Adventures of a New Dad

We took a few days off last week and made a trip over to Ocean City. Before the hustle and bustle of summer, we wanted to bring out little man to the beach and have a fun, relaxing time there.
The weather was mediocre, but we had a couple nice days in the sun and had him on the beach for a bit. I'll be sharing some more photos, I need to get access to my wife's camera for some other ones, but for now, here are a couple cute ones (including our little man sneaking a couple tastes of sand as all babies do, even though we asked him many times NOT to. haha)

Little Boy Blue Bears a Bun

Posted by WHG Staff in baby , Adventures of a New Dad

Our son is 7 months old now and doing great. He has graduated from eating just baby food and is now chewing cheerios, whole pieces of fruit, and other bits of food we give him (he has two tiny teeth that have grown in already). In the photo below, he went to town on a bun that my wife gave him when we went to a restaurant recently. I included a second one of the outfit he's wearing, which shows my wife's favorite part, the little bear hat.

One more hat photo

Posted by WHG Staff in Easter , baby , Adventures of a New Dad

My wife wanted me to include one more photo on the blog with our son in his Easter outfit with the hat. I only had one of him sleeping with it, but she took this one before we went to the brunch. I've come to notice that she doesn't like dressing him up at ALL.... lol

One other Easter photo

Posted by WHG Staff in Easter , Adventures of a New Dad

The one item that I didn't include in the previous post was a cute hat that my wife got for our son. I forgot to get a picture of him during the day, but after all the festivities, I took this shot of our little man:

Couple more sleeping photos

Took a couple more recent ones that were cute, thought I would post these up. I like the second one, looks like he's wearing a toga.

Photo(s) of the week - Sleep Time!

Posted by WHG Staff in sleep , baby , Adventures of a New Dad , 2009

In an earlier post, I mentioned how I love seeing our little man sleep. His bubbly, cheerful demeanor is great to be around, but I enjoy watching his rest peacefully just as well. I’ve collected a bunch of photos of him sleeping and thought they would be fun to share. Here are 5 of my favorites:

Enjoy!

Give us your best impression of...

Posted by WHG Staff in baby , Adventures of a New Dad

I try to share the photos in chronological order but sometimes get backed up and do others first. I think he was closer to 4 1/2 months old at the time, so that's why he may look a bit smaller.
Anyway, every night my wife and I put our son in his Bumbo seat when we prepare and have dinner. As we were making dinner one night, he decided to give us his cutest Napoleon Bonaparte impression which we took many photos of. Here are a couple of my favorite:

Photo(s) of the Week - Happy St. Pattys Day!

Posted by WHG Staff in St. Patricks Day , baby , Adventures of a New Dad , 2009

In our latest installment of "cute holiday themed photos", I have some more great ones from St. Patricks Day. My wife got a cute outfit together for the little man, and he was happy to give us some great smiles for the camera.
We both got a kick out of the third shot, it looks he's giving us his best drunk Irishman impression. Haha.

Photo of the Week

Posted by WHG Staff in baby , Adventures of a New Dad

I just love this photo. Every time I see it in my iPhone it makes me smile.
Our little man is getting more active and expressive with each day, and it's a ton of fun to watch and be a part of.

you don't say!
