DIY Kegerator | Create Your Own Personal Pub

Let's face it, your kitchen is boring. Make it interesting by turning it into a pub. Oh, is your significant other frowning in your direction? Abscond to whatever cave you have set up shop there instead. Either way, the one thing you'll need to get started on your journey is a cool way to serve beer. And there's no better way to do this than to make a kegerator. Here are your instructions: 

  1. Choose a refrigerator
  2. Choose a kegerator conversion kit
  3. Disassemble the fridge
  4. Remove the plastic top piece
  5. Find the cooling lines
  6. Drill a hole in the fridge (that's how you get the beer out!)
  7. Prepare the lid
  8. Make room for the plywood
  9. Install plywood (for mounting a tower) and mark it for drilling
  10. Drill the lid and plywood
  11. Install a PVC conduit
  12. Install a tower and rails on the lid
  13. Relocate the thermostat and light
  14. Construct the tower cooling system
  15. Build a fan box
  16. Power the fan
  17. Install the fan box and reattach the lid
  18. Reattach the fridge door
